Stellaris Consulting Australia Pty Ltd(Address: Level 1, 182 Latrobe Terrace, Geelong West, Victoria 3218)Two Positions Full TimeComputer Network & System Engineer and Developer ProgrammerSalary Range$70K-110K + Super (Annually)Full Time Computer Network & System EngineerRoles and Responsibilities:• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.• Administering new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers and workstations.• Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security.• Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.• Arranging scheduled upgrades.• Investigating faults in the network and preparing and maintaining procedures and documentation of Network.• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.Skills and Qualifications• A bachelor's degree in Computer Software/Computer System Engineering, or related field.• 5+ years’ experience in Computer systems and networks.• An analytical mind.• An ability to learn new technologies quickly.Expected Salary Range$80K-110K + Super (Annually)Full Time Developer ProgrammerRoles and Responsibilities:• Ability to research, consult, analyse and evaluate system program needs.• Assist in the design of software to meet both functional and technical requirements.• Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures, and methods.• Participate in the execution and documentation of software testing.• Conduct testing, debugging, and providing a diagnose while documenting testing artefacts.• Reviewing the system and identifying if there are any inefficiencies in the current software system.• Create, write and maintaining a program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications as per client’s requirements.• Updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures.• Guiding the team on how to build software, finding strategies, evaluating the costs and helping in other decision-making tasks.• Communicate clearly and regularly with the team members and if required with the other departments and the management.• Work closely with engineering teams in instrumenting their workflow.• Troubleshoot application issues and provide feedback for enhancement.• Understanding of cloud best practices and are capable of deploying services within and across the various platforms.Skills and Qualifications• Experience in software development and programming.• Project development and leadership skills to oversee software development life cycle.• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field is preferred.• Advanced understanding Experience with software programming and development.• Ability to work with large teams to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.• Advanced knowledge of programming languages and testing methodologies.Expected Salary Range70K-110K + Super (Annually)
