Approve payroll and expenses; Assist in preparing budgets and cost estimates; Maintain steady interaction and reporting with the customer, as needed; Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of management experience in the field of railway maintenance operations (Assistant Track Supervisor, Road Master, etc.); A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a certified Track Foreman; Track inspection guidelines (TIG) qualified and certified, with experience in track inspection (minimum 5 years); experience in maintaining Continuous Welded Rail (CWR); Familiar with Transport Canada track safety rules, and other applicable regulations; Ontario driver's license of the class appropriate for the vehicle(s) they are to operate. Demonstrated experience in managing work crews; Able to efficiently delegate responsibilities and monitor progression of delegated tasks Thorough understanding of Engineering Track Standards and Track Safety regulations; Knowledgeable with track inspection procedures, installation and maintenance work; Strong Leadership and Management Skills; Highly organized and flexible; Team player with the ability to train, supervise coach other employees; Self-motivation and distinctive assertiveness; Good written and verbal skills; Good Skills in MS Office, SharePoint; Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of escalating issues; Valid driving licence.
