On 19 March 2020, a public health emergency was declared in the ACT due to the public health risks posed by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-COV-2. A COVID-19 Response Team has been created to deliver the public health response over a longer term.The COVID-19 Response Team is seeking casual Customer Service Officers to assist with the COVID-19 public health response. Casual staff are required to conduct contact tracing for COVID-19 cases, welfare monitoring of people in quarantine, assisting with the implementation of public health directions such as travel restrictions, responding to phone enquiries regarding COVID-19, and other tasks  as required  to assist the Public Health Emergency Coordination Centre (PHECC) and the broader ACT Health Directorate. Your new role The HR Advisor assists the Assistant Director to support and build the agency’s organisational culture and workforce capabilities and contributes to the broader objectives of the agency. The position is accountable for drafting and coordinating advice, helps to drive HR strategies and programs in the agency and administers policies, procedures and programs across the following areas: study assistance diversity and inclusion rewards and recognition consultation and HR committees.
