Assistant Director – Business Management

The Environment, Heritage and Water Division (EHW) delivers the following functions for the ACT government:Nature conservation policy, planning and delivery;Heritage conservation policy and regulation;Environment protection policy;Catchment management, water policy delivery and water regulation;Conservation research and evaluation;Management of Parks and Reserves;Fire and Forest Management;Rural Land Services; andBiosecurity policy and delivery.The EHW Division also supports ACT NRM and ACT Heritage.Working as part of the Team in the Business Support Unit (BSU) and under limited direction, the Assistant Director – Business Management will provide strong leadership in coordinating, administering and delivering effective corporate and business management functions across the Environment, Heritage and Water Division. The successful applicant will need to develop strong collaborative links with Senior Directors, Managers and Administration staff across the Division.
