These services include:* Adult Acute Mental Health Services* Adult Community Mental Health Services* Alcohol and Drug Services* Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services* Justice Health Services* Rehabilitation and Specialty Mental Health Services The Therapies Team provides high-intensity, evidence-based psychological and psychosocial interventions to people, including psychological interventions, family-based interventions, and functional and occupational interventions. The Therapies Team aims to maximise the application of concentrated psychological and psychosocial interventions and enhance available treatment options for people who are clinically managed by a Community Recovery Service (CRS). As a function established under the ACMHS Model of Care, the Therapies Team provides targeted interventions that are unavailable elsewhere in the ACT and which are based on highest need within the ACMHS population. The Therapies Team Manager provides operational leadership and oversees the daily operations of the team in line with service objectives, established procedures and sound governance processes for service delivery decisions. The Manager manages human resources, finances, reporting, and quality and safety compliance. The Manager conducts clinical load review and staff allocation and is the escalation point for systemic problems and grievances. The Manager reports directly to the Senior Manager for the Access & Specialty Teams and is the communication point for organisational liaison for the Therapies Team. Professional governance of this position will come from the relevant Discipline Principal (MHJHADS). This position also forms part of the ACMHS leadership team, to progress and represent the work of the service. The Manager may have a clinical load in addition to the operational management responsibilities in the team and will be responsible for conducting skilled clinical assessments and delivering high-itensity psychological interventions to people. The Manager will oversee the clinical governance of the psychological and psychosocial interventions provided by the Therapies Team with the support of senior members of the team.
