Lead the delivery of the new Health Intranet on SharePoint Online (M365) this financial year.Requires experience managing projects of a similar size and scope within the past 2 years using Agile practicesSalary guide $160 per hrDepartment of Health’s Canberra office on commencement. Flexibility to work remotely will be considered after initiation, inline with project requirements.The project’s discovery phase found that the current Health Intranet does not meet user or business needs and produced:* A user tested information architecture* Intranet prototype (using the SharePoint Modern experience)This next phase of the intranet’s redevelopment includes a complete rewrite of all corporate content to increase self-service and improve employees’ digital experience.We are seeking an Agile Project Manager with excellent communication skills and strong experience in project management to lead a multi-disciplinary team of Communication and Information Technology professionals (including an experienced Scrum Master) to deliver the new intranet to staff.The Agile Project Manager will be required to represent the project in a variety of forums and prepare documentation to meet Health project reporting requirements and satisfy the information needs of the Senior Responsible Office (First Assistant Secretary).Health’s Intranet transition to SharePoint Online is a key deliverable in a broader Program of work to decommission the SharePoint 2013 platform at the Department. The successful applicant will need to work closely with other related projects to proactively manage risks/issues of project inter-dependencies (e.g. delivery timetables).Working closely with the Health Intranet Product Owner, the successful applicant will:(1) Lead the Agile project team* Lead and facilitate the planning and implementation of project deliverables from the three streams of work:- Content redevelopment- Technical build- System governance* Collaborate with the Scrum Master to make best use of the Agile approach to achieve outcomes* Promote a collaborative working culture and environment within the project team and stakeholders* Oversee and coordinate day to day activities of the project team in alignment with the project scope and deliverables* Manage project change, quality and risk* Ensure adequate stakeholder engagement is maintained across deliverables(2) Administer the project* Represent the project in a variety of forums to senior Departmental staff* Develop project documentation and reports in accordance with Health standards and requirements* Establish and manage project governance in alignment with overall Program of work with special care to manage project inter-dependencies* Take ownership of project scheduling, risk, quality and budget management* Manage the allocation of project resources to execute deliverables* Monitor and provide regular, accurate reports on project progress* Identify and escalate risks/issues appropriately
