Macquarie Primary School is looking for a proactive and energetic Building Services Officer (BSO). As BSO, you are responsible for the day to day maintenance and security of the school grounds, buildings, furniture, fittings and equipment. With initiative and self-motivation, you will identify and prioritise tasks and see them through to completion with minimal supervision. You will work closely with the Business Manager to coordinate and oversee maintenance programs and contractors. You will have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and have the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.Eligibility/Other Requirements:Evidence of a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to: Access CanberraMandatory Asbestos Awareness Training: Evidence of completion of training delivered by a Registered Training Organisation for Asbestos Awareness is required prior commencement.
