ABOUT THE ROLE This position requires a Qualified Electrician that has worked within the fire industry. The position will be responsible for programming, maintaining, and commissioning electrical fire panels. The role is also required to carry out testing on wet & dry fire systems.  As an Electrical Fire Technician, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of fire systems and compliance with the Australian Standard AS1670. The successful person will be part of a specialist team focused on service, repairs & maintenance work. Your role is working closely with the Service Supervisor in Canberra CBD & ACT Although you will report to the Service Supervisor this is a self-directing position, where you will usually work alone and will need to take responsibility for prioritizing your daily workload to meet set deadlines. Providing better options in housing and care for older people. Your new role To lead a team to perform general maintenance and other handyperson duties within an aged care facility. This role is responsible for ensuring that all tasks are undertaken to support service delivery outcomes including the maintenance of property and land-based assets, plant and equipment. As BSO, you are responsible for the day to day maintenance and security of the school grounds, buildings, furniture, fittings and equipment.
