Classification:  ANU Officer Grade 5 (Administration) Salary package:  $73,316 - $79,979 per annum plus 17% superannuation Terms:  Full time, Fixed term (2 years)We are seeking an enthusiastic ADA user services officer who enjoys working with researchers and data providers to support ADA's growing data access and support activities.The ADA User Support Officer works closely with the other members of the ADA User Support team and with ADA users, liaising with and providing relevant advice and service to a wide variety of researchers, policymakers and the public at large. The ADA User Support Officer is responsible for the provision of day-to-day generalist and system advice regarding ADA data, processes and services.Experience with research data and research software applications, MS Office suite, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a user support team are all essential requirements. About the Australian Data ArchiveThe  Australian Data Archive (ADA)  provides a national service for the collection and preservation of digital research data. ADA disseminates this data for secondary analysis by academic researchers and other users. The archive is based in the  ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods (CSRM)  at the Australian National University (ANU). Research at the CSRM focuses on the development of social research methods; analysis of social issues and policy; training in social science methods; and providing access to social scientific data through the ADA. CSRM is a joint initiative between the Social Research Centre (SRC), an ANU Enterprise business, and The Australian National University (ANU), established in 2015.About the ANU College of Arts and Social SciencesThe ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) is one of seven Colleges at ANU.
