The primary role of the Commercial Manager is providing timely and accurate financial information and analysis to ensure the business can make appropriate financial decisions. This includes the preparation and maintenance of budgets and forecasts for all costs and operational activities. Stakeholder management and business partnering approach to problem solving is important, and requires the individual to have experience in working with and influencing department heads with strategic and commercial decisions. Strong knowledge of transnational finance and the ability to implement best practice finance processes are important, as is the commercial and business acumen to be able to think laterally to engineer positive business outcomes.
