Right now, we are looking for a Surveillance Technician to join our ICT team.So, what does the role look like?Your first few weeks in the business will be busy. Your induction and training will be prioritised in order to have you up to speed and ready to get into the nitty gritty parts of the role as soon as possible. You will work very closely with our Surveillance department and broader ICT teams to install and maintain a variety of different software and hardware solutions across our brand-new hotel, bars, restaurants and gaming areas.What will I be doing in the role?Undertake the testing & commissioning of electronic, data, network & computer-based equipment.Install & maintain CCTV & IT related hardware & software - service, diagnose and repair.Liaise with manufacturer/s when required on hardware configurations, software features, set-up & diagnostic tools and third-party interfaces.Deployment of new surveillance software tools; ensure smooth integration of software packages.Ensure that Surveillance Network is maintained and secured, and coordinate the development of surveillance data network design, including IP addresses & numbering scheme.Ensure the integrity of site CCTV installations and Access user permissions.What you will look like?Experience with the installation and maintenance of state-of-the-art CCTV Digital IP solutions;Proficient skills to use CAD for creating and updating drawings of camera locations for compliance;Project planning and management experience;Strong organisational skills and a high level of integrity;Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills;Demonstrated problem solving skills;The ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously;Knowledge of Casino, Gaming and/or operations would be highly regarded.What's in it for you? Besides working with great people and getting firsthand experience of SkyCity's newest entertainment offerings, you will also be rewarded with a range of employee benefits including;Free employee meals available at our employee restaurant;In-house dry-cleaning service, which is also available for personal use at a discounted rate;Subsidised car parking and public transport tickets;Discounts available across SkyCity Adelaide outlets;Employee reward and recognition programmes;Fantastic career and professional development opportunities as we grow. It really is an exciting time to be joining SkyCity Adelaide.
