ABOUT THE POSITION The primary responsibility of the Engineering Manager is to oversee and enhance the 24/7 maintenance and engineering operations at the Glass facility. Maintenance Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Equipment Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production machinery, equipment, and facilities. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs and maintenance services. Identify and recommend capital investments for equipment upgrades and replacements. At least 10 years of proven track record in Engineering Maintenance Management. Hold comprehensive knowledge of the glass manufacturing industry and its specialised equipment Proven experience managing a complex engineering department in a high volume 24/7 or shift environment. Extensive experience in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple divisions and reportees.
