Reporting to the Principal Electrical Engineer, the Senior Electrical Engineer will be an integral member of the engineering team for execution of Projects within the EPC business unit and will provide technical advice relating to matters of electrical design through to project completion. Key elements of the role: Engineer projects from concept, design, construction, commissioning and final handover Responsible for the detailed design of all electrical systems and subsystems Coordinate or carry out basic estimates Liaise with suppliers in the specification/evaluation/selection/progressing of equipment Perform commissioning and testing of installed equipment Pre-commissioning involvement and input to operation and maintenance manuals Carry out factory inspections of equipment and attend factory acceptance testing when required Procurement of materials and equipment to complete project The suitable candidate will possess the following: Degree in Electrical Engineering Extensive experience within a broad range of electrical design and project engineering functions Ideally full project lifecycle experience LV to HV (primary and secondary) experience Desirable - protection, earthing, lighting Hazardous area competency Similar power generation industry or related heavy industry experience Report writing skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Initiative and problem solving ability Drivers Licence (Essential) Computer Literate, including the following: Microsoft Suite, MS Project, AutoCAD Shortlisted candidates will be provided with further information including job description, project & company details, and remuneration.
