Monitor international shipments, including back to backs, imports, exports, and stock containers, to ensure timely delivery and keep stakeholders informed.Process orders and manage contracts from initiation to completion.Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, warehouses, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customers to meet delivery requirements.Verify the accuracy of shipping documents and process necessary paperwork.Receive and manage stock containers, ensuring timely de-hiring within shipping line free time limits.Assist in maintaining shipping schedules for our New Zealand and Australian offices.Contribute to the upkeep of our service provider contacts database.Liaise with freight forwarders for shipping rates and process service provider invoices.Input local orders into our system for both Australian and New Zealand customers.Coordinate customer deliveries within Australia and New Zealand through third-party warehouses and transport companies.Keep customers updated on the status of their orders from third-party warehouses.Assist with stock reconciliation and handle Non-Compliance Reports from customers.Support sample dispatch and maintain records.Attend meetings with key service providers and assist in managing relationships.Provide backup support to our offices in New Zealand and Australia when needed.Offer sales support to the sales team as required.Undertake project work as assigned.Background in freight forwarding or shipping preferred.Experience in import and export logistics, covering airfreight and sea freight, is advantageous.Personal qualities: highly organized with great attention to detail, adept at meeting deadlines and managing varying work demands, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), willingness to learn and develop new skills.
