Reporting to the Polythene Reliability Manager, this exciting opportunity is to join a workshop of specialist maintenance technicians to ensure optimal plant reliability performance and effectiveness.The Mechanical Reliability Engineers also provide technical expertise to the reliability department servicing both the Linear Low Density Polyethylene and Low Density PE plants at the Botany site.The key responsibilities of this role include:Support the Reliability Team in accordance with the business objectives;Developed and implement SH&E plans for the Reliability team;Develop Reliability Management Plans that provide overall plant availability to meet business requirements;Optimisation of the reliability Safety Health and Environmental Operating Procedures (SHEOS);Ownership of condition monitoring programs;Leadership of reliability risk assessments including JSEA program;Develop, review and maintain the Reliability standards, specifications, strategies, policies, procedures and registers;Provide support and advice to the management team on Engineering and Asset Management issues;Lead and steward continuous improvement programs in reliability systems and on individual equipment reliability performance;Analyse equipment availability using OPMS and develop gap closure plans;Use equipment life plans to identify key risk items or end of life and develop maintenance plans;Lead the development and implementation of plant outages work scopes to ensure that they are delivery meeting the key requirements in terms of safety, time and within budget; andDevelop and implement annual fixed cost maintenance budget using Qenos.About YouFirst and foremost you will have a strong safety focus and awareness. With a strong Bias for Action, you would need to help drive regulated and hazardous waste management responsibilities in one of our Fulfillment Centers, being responsible for end to end waste processing at the site, from waste sorting, classification and removal, through to managing associated administration to ensure regulatory compliance is met. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the delivery of onsite waste education and waste process development.Our Fulfillment Centers are at the heart of Amazon's rapidly growing business: they are where we manage our fast-moving inventory.
