As the Financial Controller you will lead external financial reporting, management reporting, and commercial business partnering efforts for this division. You will act as a key partner to driving performance and growth as they aim to double in size across the next 5 years.Other responsibilities will include the following:Collaborate with the broader finance team to drive timely month-end close, reconciliations, and insightful analysis for stakeholders.Maintain and review general ledger entries, fostering continuous improvement in finance processes.Oversee and provide support to their payroll function, ensuring seamless operations.Spearhead ERP and other business systems implementation and enhancement projects.Ensure compliance with BAS, FBT returns, and other regulatory requirements.Support monthly reporting needs and contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes.The successful candidate will ideally have the following:CA or CPA qualification with extensive experience in a similar financial leadership role within a $100M-$200M organisation.Previous exposure to a high volume industrial importing & distribution organisation would be highly advantageous.Proven track record overseeing complex payroll functions is highly desirable.Strong people leadership skills with a passion for developing high-performance teams.Exceptional business partnering abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders across the organisation.Ambitious and motivated individual with a focus on technical accounting and process improvement initiatives.
