Reporting to the Manager Strategy Economy and Sustainability, this role will drive delivery of key economic development and social planning programs. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced organisation, the coordinator will lead council's support for the business community including supporting economic recovery from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The coordinator also leads council's social policy stream. The role will lead a small team of professionals to deliver a strategic and integrated approach to social and economic planning and development across Hobsons Bay. This includes business, tourism, employment, and social policy development, as well as a number of projects including a unique social and affordable housing trust that will shortly commence a significant development.
