THE ROLE Macquarie University Sports & Aquatics Centre within Campus Life are seeking casual Pool Lifeguard's to work with our friendly team at our North Ryde campus. Reporting to the Chief Lifeguard, the Pool Lifeguard will be responsible for the safety and supervision of members and guests using our aquatic facilities. You will be involved in pool supervision, monitoring water quality, pool space management and venue presentation. The position will respond efficiently and effectively to any medical or customer related incidents, implementing preventative management and completing mandatory reporting as required. Please note our center operates 5.30am-10.00pm on weekdays, and 6.00am - 7.00pm on weekends, availability for weekend, early morning and evening work will be required. About You You are a qualified lifeguard with excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. You are a quick thinker and have an awareness of WHS requirements, especially in an aquatic environment. You love working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.
