Your new role This role will see you acting as the customer’s support out on site. Our client is looking for candidates with previous experience performing diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on a range of machinery. You will work on: Wheel loaders Dump trucks Compactors Application rollers Excavators Graders and Access equipment. You will bring the following skills and experience to the role: Mechanical Trade Certificate A current QLD MR or HR Driver’s licence and a clean driving history Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems Previous experience with engine overhauls and major repairs including electrical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills Excellent customer service focus and dedicated work ethic The ability to work unsupervised and autonomously, as well as collaboratively within a team Confident user of an Ipad for work-related tasks A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work which will enable you to work through problems in both a workshop and field environment. Our client operates this great BMW dealership on the Sunshine Coast and is looking for an experienced individual to join their service departments. You will be joining a fantastic dealership, which has been trading in the local area for a number of years. They have a fantastic reputation in the area, and within the brand. Duties and Responsibilities: Providing expert advice about the mechanical condition of vehicles Ability to think on your feet Logbook Servicing, minor and major repairs, warranty repairs and pre-delivery inspections Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with a variety of vehicles Working closely with Technical Field Managers on complex problems Providing guidance to apprentice technicians Test driving & conducting quality assurance inspections Provided quality customer service Be committed to workshop safety About the candidate: Minimum Certificate III in Automotive (LV) Manual QLD Drivers Licence Full Australian working rights Commitment to workplace safety Ability to multi-task and think on your feet All previous brand experience will be considered for this role.
