Job Number: 8562 Location: Melbourne, AU CYP Design & Construction Joint Venture (CYP D&C) has been contracted to design and build the tunnels and stations for the Metro Tunnel Project. CYP D&C brings together three of Australia's leading construction partners John Holland, Lendlease, and Bouygues Construction. The Metro Tunnel Project will untangle the City Loop by taking three of Melbourne’s busiest train lines through a new tunnel under the city. It will create a new end-to-end train line from Sunbury to Cranbourne/Pakenham, with twin nine-kilometre tunnels and five new underground stations at Arden (to be renamed North Melbourne), Parkville, Anzac, and two new CBD stations - State Library and Town Hall - which will directly connect to the City Loop. We are looking for experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Senior Project Engineers, and Project Engineers to successfully participate in the project delivery process without our CBD precinct. This will involve assisting with managing the successful delivery of all MEP packages of works from procurement tender process through to handover & managing subcontractors and suppliers. Responsibilities of the role include; Work within the project team to assist with managing the successful delivery of MEP packages of works and other MEP engineering functions from the procurement tender process to handover Monitor the status of onsite progress of trade packages and report on any impacts to the Senior Project Engineer Assist with updating weekly/monthly dashboard reports on site progress and any site issues that may be present or envisaged. Assist where required in the review of project budgets and ongoing expenses to ensure Financial Control remains within the acceptable limits of the budget at all stages of the project.
