Our Client, a leading global investments firm, is seeking to add to their operations team by offering this exciting opportunity. This role is responsible for the delivery of globally accessible and distributed infrastructure services. As part of the IT Team, you will contribute to the successful support and maintenance of IT services globally, in conjunction with external vendors and service providers. The general responsibilities for this position include: Support for the production and test environments including proactively ensuring the whole technology stack runs optimally, with resilience and reliability. Maintain patching, updates and recommendations for sequencing updates to maximise functionality and minimise downtime and risk of failure Proactively manage issues to define the root cause and recommend permanent solutions Liaising and coordinating with external managed service, software and hardware providers Provide appropriate Level 2 or SME systems support, including training and pre-emptive identification and resolution of user issues Working with other support teams within IT Operations locally and offshore, and vendor partners to deliver the best outcome for the end user Engaging with vendor partners in incident management and change tracking and follow up To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience: 3-5 years' experience in IT with 2 years in engineering roles.
