About the client Our client is a well-known engineering company specialising in fabrication, laser-cutting, and floor and ceiling joist applications, located in the South-Eastern suburbs. They are looking to add to their team an experienced Brake Press Operator for a casual ongoing opportunity. About the role Your duties will be, but not limited to: Reading and interpreting drawings Operating Brake Press machine forming parts for the welding sector Programming computerised machines Skills and Experience We are looking for people who are highly motivated with a "can do" attitude and a proven track record which encompass the following: Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturer as a Brake Press or Machine Operator Ability to resolve basic mechanical issues and adjustments with machines Excellent written and verbal communications Manual Handling / Heavy Lifting - 9kgs Forklift licence would be an advantage Own car and driver's licence Flexibility for various shifts Benefits Great facility with kitchen and food trucks available Friendly team environment 8 hours shifts If you think this is for you and looking for a new opportunity, apply now.
