The Security Engineering Manager is a critical role within Flexera Holdings, spanning both Flaexera and Revenera. You are responsible for ensuring the security of all software applications that are created by Flexera Holdings You will partner with various lines of business, regions, and locations to help advance the company's information security program. Ensure that lessons-learned from discovered vulnerabilities lead to improvements in software engineering and security processes Build and manage a vulnerability disclosure process across all Flexera products while facilitating a productive relationship with the security research community Effectively collaborate with multiple business teams (Product Management, Engineering, Support, Sales SRE, Security Operations) Requirements Possess a Computer Science Bachelor's Degree or substantial equivalent experience. Seven years of professional experience in information security technologies and software development with a security focus. Direct, hands-on experience managing security projects and processes. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities. Reputation for getings things done and and in possession of a go-getter attitude. Knowledge of ISO 27001, CIS, and/or FedRAMP is a plus. Hands-on experience with vulnerability analysis, secure code review, risk analysis, and secure development techniques. Ability to maintain critical thinking and composure under pressure. Knowledge and experience of cryptographic techniques and their applications. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical constituents. Proficiency in oral and written English. Capable of aiding with the preparation of internal training materials and documentation. Familiarity with with Flexera and/or Revenera products, especially ITAM or ITV a plus. Familiar with cloud technologies, and preferred Flexera solutions: Kubernetes, Go, Goa, CloudWatch, and AWS. Be capable of taking ownership of the information security strategy. Possession of security or infrastructure related certifications is a plus. Awareness of physical security systems and processes a plus. Enthusiastic and self-starter.
