G5S is a Viticultural Management Company based in WA, with vineyard management sites across three viticulture regions.• Gingin WA• Able to start work immediately• Attractive level of remuneration provided to reflect experience and qualifications of the applicant.• Supportive team environment.About the RoleIrrigation Technician – Daily operation and scheduling of the irrigation system including all maintenance and record keeping throughout seasonal activities, apply implemented fertigation program as per Vineyard Management plan.Site Foreman - Oversee and at times operate, harvester and tractor operations throughout seasonal activities,making sure all maintenance, training and record keeping procedures and policies are followed.As site foreman you are helping us grow the grapes that produce premium quality wine for our wine producer customer. Reporting to the Vineyard Manager you will be responsible for performing a wide range of vineyard tasks.Job Requirements About You• Strategic thinker with practical operational awareness. You love best practice and driving efficiency with confidence and awareness.• Enthusiastic and hardworking with a genuine interest in viticulture and wine grape growing operations.• Ability to work well in a team and be respectful of people, land and equipment is critical• Confident in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.• Experience in a similar role with a high level of experience in the use of machinery will be highly beneficial.• Appropriate Class C license to operate tractor and harvester equipment.• A heavy vehicle licence, forklift licence and ChemCert accreditation will be highly regarded.• Physically fit and healthy and enjoy contributing to a tidy and safe environment• Strong computer literacy is an advantage.Applicants must have eligibility to work in Australia – you must be a citizen or a permanent resident.
