Support, coach and mentor Coordinators and Supervisors. Develop cost reduction strategies to achieve budget expectations. Assist the Fleet Maintenance Manager with budget preparation, monitoring of budget and control of budget to ensure compliance. Manage service order invoice receipting and monthly cost accruals. Monitor, control and report on Mobile Maintenance overhead charges by examining monthly costs. Drive and influence proactive safety behaviours through visible leadership. Essential criteria 5 to 10 years’ experience working in large scale mining operations or heavy industry with demonstrated experience and knowledge working on Caterpillar heavy machinery. Extensive experience and ability in fault finding and maintaining diesel engines. Experience leading a team in a diverse cultural environment. Trade Qualification in Diesel Fitting or a Mechanical Trade. Currently hold PNG Driver’s Licence – Class 6. Experience with SAP and proficiency with Microsoft office suite. High attention to detail with good time management skills. Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building. Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously. Desirable criteria Previous experience in delivery and assessment of training.
