Senior Safety Advisor

Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to the ANZ & South Pacific region.Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and implement corrective actions.Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on health and safety matters.Lead incident investigations, analyse root causes, and develop preventive measures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health and safety into business operations and projects.Deliver health and safety training programs and initiatives to enhance awareness and competence.Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management that are in linewith the role's scope and purpose.Act as a point of contact for health and safety inquiries and support regional health and safety committees.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar health and safety role within a multinational organisation.Strong knowledge of ANZ health and safety regulations and standards.Experience in developing and implementing health and safety management systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Certified Health and Safety Professional (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001) preferred.Google Suite Experience preferred Worker's compensation and RTW experience requiredAbility to travel occasionally within the ANZ region as required.
