A strong understanding of Aboriginal culture will be considered essential for this position. Critical to your success in this position will be your ability to multitask when faced with competing priorities, your resilience, and your interpersonal skills. A minimum of three years' remote area experience is preferred. Broad primary healthcare experience and advanced clinical skills will be highly regarded, and candidates with other experience may suit our environment. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of primary health care principles and be willing to apply these in a remote Aboriginal community setting.Candidates who are open to change, open to learning more about Aboriginal health, and comfortable living in a cross-cultural and diverse Aboriginal community setting will be best suited to this position.
