The position of Service Manager is charged with delivering exceptional client and guest experiences at some of our most stunning venues and exclusive events.Benefits• Work closely with a highly successful & professional team.• Work in some of the most iconic venues.• Opportunities for career growth and advancement within a highly regarded hospitality group.• Work life balance flexible working hours!• Staff discounts at venues and events across Fresh's venues Australia wide.About the Role• Deliver exceptional client experiences across a diverse range of events.• Opportunity to work at other venues also.• This role reports to our Events Operations Manager• Oversee events from set up, through to sequence of service, to pack down.• Planning & organising events/functions - managing the food & beverage service at each event• Maintaining records of financial transactions and stock levels.• Ensure dining facilities are compliant with all health & safety regulations.• Liaising with clients/customers to ensure customer satisfaction at every level of a function.• Selecting, training and supervising wait staff.• Lead and supervise an event team of experienced function waiters and bartenders.• Brief all staff at each event as to their role at each event.• Allocate staff according to their skill level for each event and check grooming standards of all staff.• Check all equipment, beverages, and condiments are as per the function sheet.• Communicate effectively with clients, head waiters, bar tenders.• Liaise continually with client and kitchen regarding timing and progress.• Work on a 7-day rotating roster.• Work closely with the culinary team.About You• A Diploma level qualification or at least 3 years of relevant employment experience in managing premium catering restaurants, functions and events, conferences etc.• Extensive experience across the hospitality industry. Supervisory and training experience is highly regarded.• Ability to lead and motivate a team.• Motivated by delivering an exceptional guest experience.• Organised with good time management and administrative skills.• Full-time Australian working rights.Please send your CV to
