Injury Management Coordinator

Reporting into the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Lead, duties will include but are not limited too: Travelling to work sites to assist injured staff or employees to navigate the workers compensation claim process if work relatedLiaising with all stakeholders including treating practitioners, external rehabilitation providers and our insurer on a regular basisConducting work site assessments and meetingsDeveloping, distributing and monitoring Return to Work PlansImplementing pro-active intervention strategies to set and achieve individual rehabilitation goals.Provide advice and support to Managers and Supervisors on appropriate injury management processes for work related and non-work related injuries. The successful candidate must meet the following criteria: Working knowledge of the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act In depth working knowledge of the harmonised Work health and Safety (WHS) Act Strong working knowledge of the current Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act Ability to provide a high level of customer serviceAbility to gain cooperation between various stakeholders through negotiation, persuasion and influencingDemonstrated experience in managing complex workers compensation claims
