DescriptionAllstaff Australia is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor for a 6 month Part-Time (4 days per week) role with a large western Sydney Council.This position is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the fire safety compliance and upgrades program of existing buildings and regulated premises to achieve an acceptable standard of health and safety for the community and Council.This position is also responsible for providing a technical specialist and advisory service in relation to the statutory enforcement of Acts and regulations and will also be required to provide expert advice on building compliance and fire safety matters to members of the public and/or other council staff.To be successful for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:Associate Diploma or Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent.Eligibility for accreditation or accredited at minimum A3 under the NSW BPB Accreditation Scheme.Current and unrestricted class C Drivers Licence.WHS General Induction for Construction Work in NSW Card (White Card).Demonstrated ability to apply fire safety solutions to existing buildings and the application of performance solutions.Demonstrated experience in issuing Fire Safety Orders, seeing these through to completion and recommending legal action as required. We are seeking a skilled and experienced person to oversee the technical operations at our bottling and packaging plant at Cudal, Orange NSW.The wine packaging equipment is recently commissioned and there is an existing staff team that has administration and operational skills and experience with both the new line and the recently decommissioned line. There are also existing skilled management and maintenance staff on site.Job Requirements Responsibilities:You will be responsible for coordinating the bottling line technical operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity and adherence to quality standards.You will play a key role in maintaining operations, optimising technical performance and meeting production deadlines.Experience:• Winemaking and/or similar beverage industry training or equipment technician skills would be desirable;• You need to have demonstrated a history of positive leadership qualities, strong work ethic as well as technical aptitude;• Demonstrated proficiency in using production management software is preferred;• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills are essential;• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are important.Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.

Reporting to the production manager, this role 20% hands on the floor leadership, 80% strategic. Review and negotiation of investment management agreements and related investment guidelines;Drafting and/or review of marketing materials including the creation and/or updating of Information Memorandums / PDS'/ TMDs and other fund offering documents for funds;Provide support and legal advice/counselling to all business units and internal clients on various matters;Review and/or negotiation of all vendor and other agreements, including lease agreements, terms of business, that are required for the day-to-day operation of the business;Conduct local board meetings serving as Company Secretary and preparation of board resolutions, minutes and other documents as may be required for sound corporate governance;Work closely with Australian Compliance (based in Melbourne) to ensure a positive regulatory and compliance environment. The position requires strong analytical abilities as well as evolved organizational skills and a high level of detail orientation. The position also involves extensive daily interaction with the firm's Australian staff including but not limited to very close partnership with Compliance/Risk, Institutional and Retail Client Group, Finance, Operations and local and global Investment colleagues so strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor are prerequisites.The ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities at once is a must.
