Reporting to the COO, the Finance Manager will take ownership of the Finance Function in a standalone capacity to complete the following: Month End Duties:Preparing financial reports including reconciliationsOverseeing strategic cash flowProviding property development reporting and profitability analysisProcessing entries into MYOBMaintaining investment reports and databasePreparing a monthly reporting packYear End Responsibilities:Preparing year-end accountsMiscellaneous Tasks:Overseeing cash flow managementEnsuring regulatory compliance (ASIC, ATO, etc.)Maintaining loan book documentationReviewing trading entities accounts monthly and annuallyUndertaking adhoc tasks as they ariseTax-related Duties:Tax planning (bi-annually)Ensuring compliance for trusts, companies, and SMSFHandling FBT returnsPreparing and lodging BAS returnsCollaborating with external accountants for year-end tax returnsPayroll:Processing of fortnightly and monthly paysLodgment and payments for Superannuation, ATO, and SROHandling Workcover returnsA Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldCPA or CA qualification (preferred)Proven experience in a finance manager role or similarThe capability to work autonomously and collaborativelyA proactive and adaptable nature, keen on continual improvementFamiliarity with software such as MYOB, StockMaster, Employment Hero, and MS products (desirable but not essential)
