Your new role As one of the Field Service Technicians, you will be the face of the company; travelling to various sites in the Sydney Metro and Regional NSW areas daily. Your main responsibilities will be to carry out installations and commissioning of their systems, preventive and remedial maintenance, attend emergency faults or knock downs on their equipment and rostered after hours maintenance support You will also be required to carry out diagnostics and root cause analysis, and certifications of their traffic enforcement systems. Due to the highly regulated industry, you will be required to carry excellent report writing and documentation of all findings. This will be presented during periodic company meetings. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, it will be advantageous if you have worked in a field service role previously and have a good technical knowledge with experience of hardware and software. Computer operating systems and applications will be highly advantageous, as you will need to diagnose problems both on site and from remote login. This is a physically demanding role; you will need to lift heavy objects and carry out maintenance to equipment working from heights. You need to have great communication skills, work well in a team environment, self-motivated as you will need to work autonomously, be able to juggle multiple tasks with confidence and have a sense of accountability. It is essential you have a great technical fault-finding ability as not all problems will be found through a product manual and excellent attention to detail You will need to possess an unrestricted driver’s licence and will be required to undergo a National Police Check and pre-employment medical.
