Employees reside in the varied accommodation options in Orange, with the surrounding winery and national park areas to enjoy.Employees have access to the area’s wide range of amenities, including a prominent health sector, excellent educational facilities, shopping, transport and other services such as childcare.Who we’re looking for:We are currently seeking Auto Electricians to join our Mobile Fleet Maintenance Department at Cadia Valley Operations.Our ideal candidate will possess a track record of effectively troubleshooting and diagnosing faults, conducting scheduled inspections, servicing, and completing repairs promptly.The permanent position will adhere to a rotating 7/7 roster and require candidates to work both day and night shifts.While candidates with auto electrician experience in mining will be highly regarded, we strongly encourage candidates with auto electrician experience in non-mining sectors to apply as well.Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Service and maintain mobile mining equipment air conditioning systems Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation Maintain mobile plant and equipment for underground mining operations to promote reliable equipment availability Solve complex equipment-related issues including diagnostic fault finding You will also have: Auto Electrical trade qualification Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience Current Drivers Licence High standard of work quality Be self-motivated and have a team orientated approach Demonstrated ability and knowledge to work safely and follow procedures Our Commitment to You Newmont is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
