The APS 6 Senior Finance Officer will be responsible forProviding a range of financial and budget services (eg. Budget development, end-of-month reporting, forecasting);Undertaking financial analysis and reconciliation processes on a monthly basis.Providing financial advice within the DepartmentManaging and co-ordinating month end processing i.e. accruals and journals;Liaising and engaging with internal clients.The ability to prioritise workload and manage a small team is essential as is the ability to accept and manage change. As an APS 6 Senior Finance Officer you willhave strong financial capability and competencehave excellent focus on client serviceshave strong analytical and investigative skillsbe able to work under limited supervision and within a teambe a skilled communicatorbe able to build/contribute to a highly productive working environmentexemplify a high level of personal integrity, honesty and professional competence.You will be an Australian Citizen, ideally be based in Canberra and will have a minimum of baseline security clearance or the ability to gain it.
