The TDLB supports implementation of TDL functionality through the provision of specialist Engineering Advice and Test and Evaluation services.As the Senior Network Engineer/ Telecommunications Technician, you will work within a mixed APS, Military and Industry team responsible for conformance to standards and interoperability testing of ADF TDL systems. The Senior Network Engineer/ Telecommunications Technician will take a supporting role in the planning, scheduling and conduct of TDL test activities.Under direction, perform the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a team:Perform network engineering functions including design, implementation and optimisation.Analyse, develop, enhance, secure and test complex network designs.Monitor the performance of network and equipment to ensure high availability and redundancy.Troubleshoot network performance issues.Develop and revise network technical documentation.Participate in the setup/draw down of test events utilising specialised military communication equipment.
